My wife and I took some pics of a rat snake in my back yard. Big ol' belly too!! Some of these pics were taken with reverse lens.

small eastern rat snake. has a big full belly of mouse!!
I luve reverse lens. look at the detail in the scales of this one

and the bottom ones of the face!!
 
cool! what exactly is a reverse lens though? I am not educated in camera speak...

It gives u really good macro without needing the expensive and limited use macro lens. Its how i wac able to get such up close and detailed pics of the scales.
