Hey guys,
i have a golden crossback VIP Arowana from the imperial arowana farm singapore.
He is about 12 inches big.
I heard different opinions about him and want to know what you guys think.
His is eating shrimps , crickets, prawns.
I also have a few problems with him.
On his right body side there is one scale with a crack, should i pull it out or will it heal by it self ?
His right eye tends to go a little bit downwards but i think it stops for now.
Anything i can do that it doesnt gets worse?

he looks amazing! and only 12 inches? he's only going to get better

His colours are great for only 12" fish , I would leave the scale it'll sort itself out eventually as its still young its got plenty of growing to do

That is a hansom fish.

Thank you all.
Maybe he is 13-14 inches but not more.
He doesnt like cichlids very much.
He pinned my old dat in the corner and gave him a very hard time.
I had to sell the dat.
Now i have bought a group of wild oscars and he didnt like them too.
Will he calm down as he gets older or will it gets worse ?

I don't think he will ever cross, but a nice fish just the same. WTT, subdued lighting, and a diet will help with the drop eye.

What means WTT ?
White Tank treatment ?
I think this looks terrible.
I dont bother if he crosses or not.
I will try to give him a diet but its hard in a community tank.
He is a very agressive feeder.
Thank you for your advice.

Mmmm...This is high back. Not cross back.
crossback's珠鱗 must full.Like this.

I can only say it is normal.
We come to test, when the fish swim slowly in time, at some distance from the place where the fish gently touches the surface of the water and then release, then the fish will soon know and fled off. It can feel a slight vibration so fast the water, all the lateral line function. So when fierce enemies to be close, it will be able to quickly find and run away.

Fish lateral line, to look for food also has a great function. Because once it eat biological cause vibration of water, it can determine the position and swim to biological and catch forward.

Lateral line of the fish have such a role, because it is actually a complete neural tissue. We fish the outer side of the line from the point of view, it is composed by a number of holes, and these holes in succession with the skin side of the line pipe, on the wall of the distribution of many sensory cells, cells rely on sensory nerve endings by lateral line nervousness of the brain.

Sorry for my bad english. Can only use google translation.
