Kelberis don't really POP until the 10-12" mark. Be patient, feed good, and maintain good water and see what he turns into.
Agreed.I have had kels that did not develop the spangling in the pelvic or ventral fins until they grew to a large size and here yours is, well spangled at barely six inches.I say no need to get rid of it and go looking for something else, work with this one and see how it blossoms.just 6" and showing nice body pattern, I seen some bigger kels with less pattern and colors just try to see if he a keeper or should I give it the boot and move on to the next kelberi.
How your kelberi looking rich?Agreed.I have had kels that did not develop the spangling in the pelvic or ventral fins until they grew to a large size and here yours is, well spangled at barely six inches.I say no need to get rid of it and go looking for something else, work with this one and see how it blossoms.
