Just bought a 210 gallon (72x24x29). after its cycled, here is what I want in it. Tell me what you think, if you see any problems, or if it will be overstocked:

Currently own to go into tank:
Shubunkin goldfish
Boesmani rainbowfish x3
australian rainbow x3
moonlight gourami
blood parrot x3
bristlenose pleco
common pleco
pictus catfish
bala shark x2
Electric Blue Jack Dempsy

(all above fish currently get along together.)

What I want to add
Fire Eel
Bala shark x1
ornate bichir (possible conflict with rainbows?)
tinfoil barb x3
redtail catfish (just kidding)
boesmani rainbowfish x3

Would all this together overstock my tank? If not, any good suggestions on what I could add? It is more or less a community tank with larger fish. Any fish I should remove?

Shubunkin goldfish - not a good idea to mix goldfish and tropicals
Boesmani rainbowfish x3
australian rainbow x3
moonlight gourami
blood parrot x3
bristlenose pleco
common pleco - ditch the common pleco, too much waste production and gets too big
pictus catfish - add a couple pictus, better in schools
bala shark x2
Electric Blue Jack Dempsy

(all above fish currently get along together.)

What I want to add
Fire Eel - probably pushing it a bit
Bala shark x1 - i think you'd be okay
ornate bichir (possible conflict with rainbows?) - ornate would eat most of the smaller fish, also shouldn't keep them with plecos, who tend to eat their slime coat
tinfoil barb x3 - pushing it to add 3 fish that are gonna hit 12-15" each and produce tons of waste
redtail catfish (just kidding)
boesmani rainbowfish x3 - this would be fine i think

I thought the rule with pictus is that they are schooling fish as babies, then become extremely territorial against others of their kind as adults. I have no problem getting rid of the common pleco. It was just dumped on me.

I know the Bichirs in general have big appetites, but is there anything on the list that one could eat at adult size? Rainbowfish perhaps... i dunno how big a full grown one's mouth is. I've only had the sengals in the past

a full grown ornate could probably take on some of the smaller rainbows without much difficulty to be truthfully honest, however I think if you were to try out a delhezi it may work, typically only get around 12-14" rather than 20+
