Well I started with the new rock formation as shown below.

then i got some t5 ho lights by nova extreme which puts out 78 watts into a 30 gallon = 2.6 watts/gallon which meant it was time for some plants.

wisteria is seen in the back corners. bacopa carolinia can be seen in the background in the middle of the tank. blyxa japonica is found in between the rocks and then random bushes of HM. i am not too satisfied though and im open for suggestions!! please comment!

those look like barbs? they will prolly rip up on ur angelfish
as for the tank
driftwood and some more colors, its pretty standard black, brown, green

I like your aquascaping... nice and clean, not too cluttered.. Looks good.. :)

I think its a nicely laid out tank. I do suggest putting the rock formation a bit closer together so they almost touch, will give a nice cover system to the rock formation, then maybe you can fit some small rock or driftwood on the right side of the tank.

i would place some driftwood on the rightside near the plants
and then move the rocks a lil closer together
oh and the plants on the back right, u shoud space them out a bit they look crowded together
nice tank :headbang2

Nice tank! I might suggest researching your fishes natural habitat before deciding what to put where. I looked at a lot of pics of natural environments before I set my 150 up. It helped me obtain a neat and well-rounded (my opinion) look without losing the natural appearance. I have to get some pictures up on here... Good job though!

Looks fine.
Just leave it for now,and over time you will slowly make changes.
That's the fun part about the hobby, it's always changing, just let it happen slowly and over time you'll know what you want and what you don't want.
Also, look at other set ups for ideas.

very clean look, I personally prefer some more plant with color to light up the decor. most of colorful plants are hard to keep though. Of course, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.
Happy new year.
