Well you used the shorthand thx instead of thanks, and that is informally a thank you, so really I'd rate your thank a 3. Nice looking fish tank though. If being critical I'm not keen on the bridge thing, but it's what you like that matters!

the tank it self its 12"x36"x17"
im guessing 35g. i got

2 silver dollars
1 green terror
2 black convict
3 tiger barbs
1 common pleco
1 knife
2 neon tetras

lose everything but the wood in the middle, get more plants, raise the water level
and your good to go

Looks good. agreed about more plants and raise water level. But i would keep the bridge if its a present from your mum.... gotta keep the old girl happy mate.
