About one year ago exactly I acquired some zonatus and rainbow cichlid fry. They have been growing out together in the same tank (8' long).
My question is regarding their rate of growth. The zonatus are pushing about 8" in length and the rainbows are about 3" in length. I know the zonatus achieve a much greater length then rainbows, but I thought the rainbows would have been full grown by now?
Do larger fish grow faster? Any comments on rate of growth is appreciated!
