I was looking to possibly purchase this mbu Puffer what do you guys think of his health looks a little beat up... thankss...

How large is he atm??? Coz he looks a bit thin which could be due to IP’s or just lack of feeding...

Other than that seems to look fine...
 
He's around 3 1/2 in what do you think about his tail? I think he may have ich as well I seen a few white dots kinda hard to see
 
Other than abit under weight looks healthy nice colours can't tell about the white spots in the pic
 
Given all the info i would say he just needs to be quarantined and given some care then should be a nice specimen...

What are you feeding and how are you feeding your puffer???

Also how long has he been in the tank now??? Any pics of setup...
 
I tried frozen half shell soaked in garlic,as well as frozen shrimp. I just drop it in to the tank. An the set up is just a 20g bare quarantine tank has not ate in two weeks. Lfs couldn't get him to eat so I got him for 40 bucks 3days ago...any tips
