Hey guys, well im buying a new aqaurium and it comes with these filters. Eheim 2213, (2)Aquaclear 300, Emperor 400. The eheim sucks (169 gph) but hey, tell me if these are good. rate them from 1 - 10.

As for the HOB's the emperor has alot more media area than a AC300 and more flow. And on top of that is has a bio-wheels that uses a wet and dry action to culture stonger healther and more bio-bacteria than any AC filter can. So it is number 1 for me. It just makes since. And once you get these filters side by side I am sure you to will see the difference. --------------Then for the canister, well canisters are good but this is a very small one. So for a 20g or less tank it would be good. But for anything bigger it will need another form of filtration along with it. And since I have no idea what size tank it is going on I would have to give it a 10.--------------1---being great and 10 being poor

Emperor 400 = junk for anything over a 55

(Its on a 55 has an under gravel filter too) For a 135 the eheim despite its flow will greatly help bio . Use the HOBS for mechanical especially the emperors great filters and they got bio wheels dont they? the ac 110 is my hands down favorite mechanical filter
Arguably you mention some of the best filters on the market. For HOB's those are two best. I perfer the AquaCLears myself. Ditch the 300/70 and get 2 110/500. Use and Ehiem 2217 and ditch the 2213.
