Guys I want you to rate my flowerhorn .... and can you answer these few questions also ?
1. Water or Hard kok ? ... will it grow later ?
2. What strain is my FH
3. Why are there no pearls at his kok ?
4. Is it a good FH/ High or Low Quality
5. Male/Female

Male ZZ... looks hard Kok to me, but I could be wrong. feed the fish good pellets, a little krill, and keep the tank water clean and you could have a beast.

Agreed with dirty redd...male ZZ RD with a hard kok.

Your FH may develop pearls on his kok as he gets older...mine didn't get them till he was a year old.

IMO, kok growth is dependant on 3 things and in that order:
1) genetics
2) diet
3) water quality

I give your fish a 6. With the proper care, he could turn out to be quite a looker!
