Raw shrimp as staple diet??.....

I use a lot of market shrimp in our basic diet. In fact... i use it as the base for the ground mix I make for the smaller fish. You might want to try skipping a couple of days and offering other foods. Variaty is always best.

Works fine as a staple. Most of my fish have it as a staple. I do however supplement with cichlid pellets floating type. They come up to the top to eat with the oscars and jags. TSN will sometimes, but most of the time they will only take sinking pellets.

Stuff some pellets or other variety of foods in one of the shrimp if you are worried about nutrition, etc.

you can also thaw/marinade them in vita chem, or something to that effect.

Yeah he is like 3-4 inches and very lazy,i have to hand feed him all the time,i cant wait till he gets bigger and eats hisself.
