raw squid

anyone tried feeding their bichirs raw squid? wanna try feeding them squid but just wanna make sure nothing wrong happens when i do.

yeah ive wondered the same thing before. can you feed them the squid you buy for fishing from supermarket or 711.

my lfs sells frozen squid to be fed for SW fish. not sure if your poly will take it, be you can try.

true. but my polys dont chew there food. lol

i have fed it to mine with no problems...they will or wont take it...some of my fish like it while others wont go neer it...

same too me...i also give my poly that..only my sens eat the squids..other wont

Squid shouldn't hurt the fish, but normally I try not to feed my freshwater fish saltwater fish.

why is that? supposedly they are more cleaner than your average freshwater feeders when it comes to aquatic diseases right?
