Ray and plecos

Is it true that you can't cohab the two. Also are arowanas peacock bass ok with rays and how about convicts i have 7 of them and i seen them peck on the rays tail. Thanks for any infos

Ive got three plecos in my pond with four rays and they seem to do ok.

I've read on here by alot of people that plecos suck the slime coat off rays. Sometimes they are fine together but sometimes not I wouldn't risk it.

Rays and pleco's work for some and not for others, you might have to give it a shot and if it doesn't work the pleco's gotta go. As for the aro's and pbass they worked fine with mine but had to sell them just because i had a hell of a time getting enough food to the bottom without those pigs eating it all first. last of all i wouldn't keep con's with my rays if i already saw them picking on the tails, it's only gonna get worse as they get size and start breeding. Just my .02 though..lol

I agree with the content posted so far. Case by case works wonders and lends itself to some good stories.
