Wow they can swim fast. Its cute how the baby is all disoriented when it gets out and can't swim straight.


It seems like the male was pretty aggressive towards the birthing female and her babies though. Is that normal?

I was thinking the same thing. That male was right up on her, even as she's birthing. Is that normal? Should the female be given her own tank to birth in?

The males usually try to get with the females very soon after birth as you can see. I separate all my males to the all male pool after I know for sure the females are pregnant.
