I'm new to the stingray scene and would like to start off with a nice young pup. I've got the resources to make this pup happy and healthy, all that i need to find out is if there are any stingray breeders around the Chicago-land area.

I guess I'm most interested in a P. Histrix, and yes i do know that those are pretty tough to get eating, but i am more than up to challenge (i think thats the right wording, anyway i can get it to eat). so if anyone either knows of breeders around Chicago, if you could let me know that would be awsome.

I will have a litter of motoro pups in a few weeks. You wont find a true histrix for sale. Lemme know
 
Dont think you will find any Hystrix for sale in the us anytime soon. I only know of six over there. They arnt picky though. My old pair ate almoste everthing i gave them form the start.. ^^ They cost 750-900 dollars here in Europe (pups).

But its still to bad that you cant get Hystrix in the us.. They are so hardy and easy to keep.. :wall: Just like leos and motoros.
 
nice CB motoro and you will be set..... it does suck hystrix are not available but they are not really on my list of rays i want to own either
