ray feeding idea

Hey guys

I just got this idea not too sure it will work. I have about 10x rays which ill feed them cut up market fishes.

What if i stop feeding them those market fish and fill the tank up with feeder fishes. Which means i keep topping up my tank with feeder fishes.

Can that work out?
 
Would take a ton of feeders as mentioned, would be best to QT the feeders as they will most likely have some disease, then you would have to worry about all your rays eating. Some rays are excellent hunters in a tank while others struggle. With the energy a ray spends hunting one ray would need to eat a dozen feeder minimum per day.

No but most feeder fish r mostly fatty and dont hold alot of nutritional value for the cost.......good exercise for the rays and fun to watch

And maybe watch the cichlids I lost a ray to constant tail biting from a cichlid once

If they get hungry I bet they will eat them very fast.
