the ray will have to live in here for life so no mortos or anything. i really dont want rectics but if i have to get them i will. any and all help is appreciated. thanks

Nobody knows any of the small ray species?? or where i can get histrix? help me out please

a motorro or leo would work in your setup.

Ya but I would have to upgrade

How big to scobinas get? Are they hardy? How much do they cost? Are they easy to find?
Thanks for the help

Anyone?

I may believe that motoros would be fine in that tank for life.....the 36" wide tank is plenty, I would think that your tank would great for leos as well....am I wrong?

mortos and leos get 24"+ wide and then add the tail my tank would be to small when full grown. i would get a leo if they werent $500+ because they are extremly slow growers. any info on the scobinas? or know where i can get a histrix? thanks for all the help so far

a male leo or motoro would be fine in that tank as they stay smaller than the females may be around the 18inch mark

You know I'm wondering if different Motoro's don't get different sizes. We were talking about the differences in motoro's found all over the amazon with different tail lengths and charactoristics. Antenea rays get 20" they have thin tails.
