So im not sure how it happened but my female marbled motoro has some damage. It happened a couple weeks ago which is when i took the photos im going to link below.
Only thing i can think is maybe she caught up on the pump but its an all rubber housing so i dont see how it could happen, then i though maybe the male did it. I was thinking maybe the 86 degree water i put in when i do the water changes stimulated him to try to mate and maybe he bit her but i dont know if that happens when they breed so im reaching out to any experts. I doubt it was any tank mate because other than the male dovii everyone has been in there together for quite a while with no issues. Except my yellow acara got his gill plate ripped off and i am clueless as to how that would happen either. I really dont know what to do. Any kind of thoughts or help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the help i was hoping it was just him playing rough cause the marks have started to look better, i just been doing 100 gallon water change every day and keeping the filter clean and hoping lol.
