IN A PLACE
Last night, the power went out. I'm not sure how for how long and at what time (went to sleep around midnight and woke up around 9am). When I checked on the ray tank one was missing. I found her stuck in the sump. The tank is a 100g system II tank. During the outage, the ray climbed over the overflow grid and got in there. I carefully pulled her out. I have kept the room as dark as possible and did a 30% water change. Water conditions were already excellent ( nitrates 15 /nitrites 0/ ammonia 0). Her disc has a severe curl on the back left side. Other than water changes, is there anything else i can do? I hope she can recover.

**this tank is for quarantine purposes only, I have 3 motoro pups that I got 4 weeks ago. They will be going into a 360g in about a month.

That is okay that is only curling on the back left side and not a full curl. She must have injured that area and will keep it lifted until it heals up. As long as there was no internal damage she should be fine. If there are tankmates that might stress her a little maybe move them or put a divider up and sometimes a piece of driftwood especially if the tank is bare bottom will help her feel more at ease. Other than that keepdoing what your doing

Good luck, I had a pup get sucked into the overflow pipe which was 1 1/2" and when I found her she was upside down in the filter sock but was still breathing. She did not make it past the first night. Hope you have a better story.
