What are the water parameters?
When I added my marble, I didnt have enough bb in the system and it crashed. He stopped eating and wouldnt get off the front glass.

Water change, seperate it with a divider and keep the lights off. Then you can start with its favorite food.

Good point with parameters...what is your filteration and water change schedule like? (Either way, I still recommend WC)

Sounds like ammonia/nitrite spike to me. Stress causes Rays to stop eating. Increase water changes a lot but ensure temp remains stable and if it is ammonia/nitrite try and keep PH at 7.0

Even if the other Ray is still eating he is probably more established and most likely will follow the same symptoms soon enough.

Best of luck

I agree with the water changes and parameters. Invest in a test kit and fix by doing more water changes, and use a good water conditioner like Prime. Over-feeding can cause ammonia spikes and left over food can cause bad water quality. If you have high ammonia and/or nitrates, water changes will definitely help along with a dose of prime which will bind ammonia and make it less harmful for your Rays/fish. Keep us updated

Have you tested your paramters yet? I would suggest you do that first so you can resolve accordingly. Whats your filtration like (Canister or sump), and what are you feeding your Rays? If you can, post a pic of the ray that's not eating so we can see if there's anything else wrong

If it's water quality causing the problem id suggest a lot more than 20% water changes. It can take very long to flush and dilute the ammonia and nitrite out of your system and then don't forget that the Ray will only destress usually several days after your water if back in order. Ex. I had an issue with my 300 gal and my ammonia and nitrite spiked high; it took about 3-4 days of flushing 200-300 gals of water from my already established 1200 gal through it to eliminate all nitrite. I found the nitrite lingered for an additional day than my ammonia. Just my personal experience. So in my case I probably did a full water change per day for about 5 days to eliminate all signs. But in your case a full water change with new water probably isn't a good idea.
