I personally believe natural ray hybridization rarely if ever occurs. These fish have swam those waters for MILLIONS of years. If natural hybridization was as common as some people suggest, I would think by now we wouldnt have such a diverse genus as we do now.
Saying that I just looked at those pictures again...is that ray covered in tiny dots in between the spots?![]()
