I guess my newbishness is showing , This is what my other ray looks like. Both retics eh?? I would have never guessed with how different the coloration is.

the other one is very beautifull.
...look on their tails from the side and you will see,that both tails look like the same....

I agree with this.
Note, the caqueta rays are much smallerr than the reticulated ones. You may observe sexual adolesance in small rays.
It is considered one very hard to be kept. I failed with one of those. Though they are one of the most beatiful species.

IMO, definitely not. It ranks even worse than a retic. The only thing I can possibly think of that looks worse than that is a cheap peru sp.

That's subjective... have you seen one in real life?
I upload here picures of mine. BTW, it is also called red flower/red retic.

The first ray pictured if not a red retic.

Red Caquetas are characterized by a rusty red coloration with gold seems stretching down both sides of their tail.

They are my favorite.
