Just came back from Thailand and saw a large outdoor pond with a FW Ray in it. I don't think this was a SA species, it was dark grey (nearly black) with no obvious markings and about 3' in diameter. Very long whip like tail. The "nose" was truncated inward a few inches. It could have easily been mistaken for a SW species except that there were two large gar (Florida Gar, I think) in with it. Anyone know what this might be?
