hello
i thought i would share a story of success. i have a 13" or so female motoro variant. i notice a lack of appitite with her ,but was eating. i didn't think she had worms because she has been in captivity for a few years. i double treated her with prazi pro then she just stooped eating. i later notice some fungus on the tip of her tail. i thought she would be a goner i had some melafix used it because i had it, and later found some metronidazole used that with some kosher salt. 12 days not feeding, medicated the tank, and did water changes.13th day offered food with not even a once of hope and she started to eat on smelt out of all things.now she has been eating for about 5 days twice a day. still skinny as a rail but with a decent appetite. i would like to thank pat from Amazon stingrays for his encouragement to hang in there and keep trying. i am hoping she puts on some weight now and makes a full recovery.i cant tell you what was wrong with her I'm just glad she is doing better.
