I'm thinking of using a Rubbermaid agricultural stocktank for an indoor ray pond. It is 300 gallons and measures 69"x64"x24" high, would it be big enough to house a pair of Motoros??

I don't see why not..

Looking into purchasing some myself. Where are you getting yours from? How much you paying? Make sure they are fish safe! (Dosn't leech anything into the water.)

I can get them at the local farm supply place for around $250 for a 300 gallon one. They are fish safe, a lfs has been using them as coral tanks for years.

Awesome idea. Just out of curiousity, what are you planning on filtering it with? huge wet/dry?

I believe that they have a 1" threaded fitting in them.

It should be relatively easy to rig a wet dry with a gravity return to the pond.

A pair of motoros should be fine in there.
