I have done the bala shark thing with my rays and yes they eat poo but man do they get big and fast. I was thinking about getting a tinfoil or two but was wondering if there are any smaller barbs that eat stingray poop? Is this a tinfoil thing, or a barb thing?

I use silver sharks with my pups - they do grow fast with the copious amount of food I feed my pups, but I just trade them out every couple of ray batches for smaller ones. They work well as I have never had one that has nipped the end of a ray tail - trialed bars but always found they nipped at my rays tails when young. I also tried spotted silver dollars and had the same issue - can't speak for red hooks though.
