I recently bought 3 new rays about a week ago , I cant seem to get them to eat , I am trying to feed them frozen krill (shrimp) but they dont seem to be taking to it the guys at LFS said that is what they were eating and ghost shrimp I am going to try ghost shrimp tonight but why will they not eat ? I am getting worried , could it just be because of the transfer to my house and they are not comfortable in there new tank yet ?

They should be eating by now. What is the temperature, tank size, tank mates, and all water parameters? What type of ray is it?

What kind of rays are they and how did you acclimate them????? Def try the live blackworms.... Mine are all afraid of night crawlers.... if one even comes close to touching a ray they all freak out and swim around as fast as they can.

Before you buy rays, did you ask the LFS to feed them with something they love ? Coz a healthy ray will eat like a pig.

If you bought a healthy rays then it wont resist Ghost Shrimp and earthworms.

agreed, you should always see the ray eat before you buy it,
As far as acclimation 1.5 hour isn't much, slow is best mine all acclimate in a drip for 6 hours and I offer black worms while in a drip before mine even go near my main tank.

Def, get ghost shrimp, and black worms.... Hope things turn around for you.

Wild-caught rays often don't understand how to eat non-live foods, thus ghost shrimp and blackworms are a great starter food.. Try chopped earthworms, I always had success with that, which lead to shrimp.
