ray stretching?

my ray is swimming relatively normal and i have sat and watched it on multiple occasions tonight and i see the ray lift its pelvic fin and hold it for a few seconds then relaxes. is this stretching or something else?

Normal behavior, probably stretching.

If in doubt, get out the test kits, no ammonia, no nitrite, stable ph 7 ish and little nitrate then little to worry about

i think its fine cuz it was just that day and i had the lights off for a short period of time which makes me think it had very little sleep

There is a slight chance it could also be constipated, watch to make sure everything is passing through ok then I wouldn't worry about it

mine does that and kind of sneezes. snaps forward it's interesting to watch.
