Just wanting to know if Rays will do ok on large soft creek rocks......I always see them on barebottom or sand and wanted to know if this is required.

i know of people who have done it... as long as it is not sharp its ok to use.... feeding could be a problem though

Never heard of soft rock LOL! I keep mine with Estes gravel that is about 1/8 to 3/16 of an inch diameter and don't have any problems. My only concern with large rock is the food getting stuck under it and decaying.
just careful with rocks... rays like to throw stuff around my 18" leo pulls driftwood around, dont want a rock to get thrown into a side and crack the glass..
