My in the works Ray tank...

Just getting the blue prints drawn up... what do you think so far?

The tank will be 8'x4'x1.5'-

The water will exit the left side (red) into the first filter- the filter will them empty into a trickle tower with matala mat, bio balls, matala mat, bio balls, and then down into a bed of lava rock with 3 large airstones- the water will them go into another filter, out into a UV, and then up and back into the tank.

The Grey in the upper part is the spray bars that will be located on each side of the tank. I heard that the imitation of rain makes them want to breed.

This is something I thought up today while at work and drowning out my phone customers..

Advice appreciated.

PS- my paint skills suck. :grinno:

Remember that your filter should have gravity on one side, and pump on the other. Which side you choose to pump on is inconsequential. However, most hobbyist systems are not accurate enough to pump in several places (as I *think* is depicted in your diagram)

I'm not gonna lie... I don't build things... my fiance does.. so I am completely lost by what you said. haha.

Would raising the height of one of the filters (pref, the left) give it gravity flow?
