Looking to add a male motoro to my 260 with two cigar sharks, a florida gar, fire eel, clown knife and odoe pike.. any problems with this? Eel is 6", clown is 3", pike is 3" and gar is 4", the ray it has a 6" disc.

Nope, ray might try to eat a few of those but the ray should be happy.
What are the dims? That tank might be pushing it for a motoro.

I doubt it will try to eat any of them at that size or at all. My rays have never been interested in eating live fish. So I'm on the other side of the argument. Every ray is different so I would say it's 50/50

Can work but will be hard to get eating properly. Unless you feed all the other fish eat and then try to add worms... Might wanna acclimate him in his own tank until he's eating a lot.

Yeah my biggest worry was the ray outgrowing the eel and eating it.. the tank is 84"x30"x24" (lxwxh). The ray I'm looking at is feeding on worms currently, he could go in the main tank with the two cigar sharks, the rest are in a grow out and won't be added until later.

I've had pretty good luck with rays and fire eels.

My fire eel put on a lot of size when I kept it with rays. It would go under the rays and steal worms, market shrimp, and massivore. Polys and eels are the only fish I ever had that survived being under rays (and seemed to enjoy going under them)
