Im looking to buy a tank for a pair of P1s and I was woundering if a 150 gallon tank would give the rays enough space. 72"x24"x20"

It would work if you bought small juveniles for awhile, but plan on selling the rays to someone with a bigger tank later, or saving up for a bigger setup to grow with the rays.

So what would be a recommended size so I don't have to get rid of them?

For motoros I would recomend somthing along the lines of 98''x48''x24'', and a big female can even make that look small.

If you have to have a smaller tank, there are some ray sp. that are suitible to live in a 180gl for life, like histrix, scobina, and retics. Retics are easy to find, but if you want the the other one of the other types it will take some searching.
