Ray took out my 6 1/2"Shark Fish

Well never had this happen before with any of my larger fish in with my rays.
Looks like, not for total sure, but had to be...
Ray took the head off my 6 1/2" shark fish





tank mates- had two shark fish 6 to 6 1/2" long
Arrowana 15"
2 silver dollars 3 1/2 " tall
1 clown knife 9" or so


worried ray might try to take something else out next... lol

I had a 6" gaft get eaten from my rays recently.

well it sucks since it takes some time to get them that size, but Im more worried now he or she might try and go after my clown knife...

are u sure it was the ray? a 15" arow could do that.

when my arow was about 20" he swallowed 2- 6" angels whole.

some rays are better than others but at some point they all seem to try and eat anythign that they are with. one of mine recently tested out a 11" plec but didnt get far and the fire ell i have thats about 2ft regularly turns up with bite marks.

anything in with rays is a risk, even the aro if they can catch it ( as one of mine did )

I would think an Aro that size would almost be able to swallow that fish whole. They are not chunk biters, but swallow and crushers.
