I just came across your post of a weird brown lung with gold spots on it..... WHAT THE HECK??? I'd love to know more about that lungfish. Thanks

could you provide a link for others perhaps? or text quote his description?

I think it was one of my threads stating that I was looking for an AUL, or other unique lungfish. Rayman posted a photo of what LOOKED LIKE a larval AUL that had yellow spots all over it. Thing couldn't have been more than a few months old. And he typed " ?????" after the photo. Where's Rayman?

The only lungfish I know of the displays yellow spots is South American lungfish (L. paradoxa)

This was most definitely not a SAL. Hold on, let me see if I can't find the thread.

I am trying to paste it here... let's see if it works .... #6

Guess not....
Is Rayman45 still around? Would love him to post that picture again of a tiny lung with big gold spots on it. (It was originally in my "wanted to buy, including rare, lungs)

what pic??

A few months ago, when I first joined, I put up an ad saying I wanted to buy lungfishes, including rare and unusual ones.

You posted a very odd photo of a lung (photo showed mainly just the head and front fins) and it was brown, and covered in gold spots (not specks) And you had put down " ????? " under the photo. Ring a bell?

I have seen color morphs like that on an annectens on a japanese website.
I have been looking for this website but I can't seem to find it anymore.
If I do I will post the picture.
