I am researching a 500g tank for an upgrade. I have came across a very good deal on a complete setup only on problem I wanted glass due to concerns for scratching from the rays and a sand bottom but the setup is acrylic. Have any of you keep rays in an acrylic tank if so how did it work out.

You can use wet/dry sand paper while fish are in the tank. I have a 480 I've been slowly sanding due to a large pleco. I thought the acrylic was defective and then realized it was the pleco.
