UW! Go Huskies!
I'm very new to Rays and currently have 3 - 6" Motoro pups with an 8" Arowana and a 5" Flagtail Prochilodus. I haven't had issues with the Flagtail and any other fish in my other tanks but I've heard that they're notorious for sucking slim off their tankmates. Having never kept Rays before..... I'm not sure if they'll be more of a target since they're a slower moving. How will they co-exist? Anyone have issues? Thanks.

it's case by case basis. I've got close to 9" Flagtail and kept him with 7" to 8" rays before..no issues of the Flagtail harming the rays. He will try to bully other fish like mahseer or barb but never dare to chase the arowana..

Some do some dont....

Keep a close eye on it i do and it works fine saying that my flagtail spends most his time running away from my bass so he as little time to slime suck lol

:ROFL:Maybe I shuda added some bass to my 320 as I recently gave my 9in flagtail a pink slip for sucking the slime off of my aparicio. I echo most everyone's sentiments as I have had several in the past that did not bother my rays, but my last one did. Good luck!
