Ray's and treatments

Hi guys me again, was doing a WC today and after I was finished, I noticed one of my female WC geos swimming as if she had swim balder. Moved to hospital tank and she was fine swimming normally. I noticed from what I've researched she has hole in the head, she was a late arrival to the tank, so the whole tank was treated for internal parasites (mainly it was for my wild caught ray pup) before she arrived. Is octozin a ray safe treatment? Cos I'd like to treat whole tank again, as clown loach were late arrivals as well so need treatment. I've read that it states it's safe for all fish but wanted to double check Before doing so. Tia
 
Havnt heard of that drug but i'd try a half or quarter dose and if the ray can handle it and it doesnt fix anything, I'd up the dose.

It's a water life treatment. If not from uk won't have heard of it. But says fish safe. But Today I was told I didn't treat whole tank for internal parasites I'd treated for external parasites So was told wrong stuff today! Best internal parasite treatment safe for rays?
 
I have uzed Octozin when I had problems when I kept Discus.

Tbh, I found it useless.
It is very very mild. If I remember correctly, it is a very small dose of dimetridazole.

I am new to Rays, so can't comment on your exact problem

But for parasites, what do you mean?

For worms and flukes, there is Kusuri Flukesolve
For flagellates etc, Metro (on prescription from a vet in the UK). Or the Octozin.
 
Can rays really get hole in the head????
Sounds like you have added a lot of new fish at once to your tank?
How many exactly? What size tank and is it a very mature filter?
 
One of my geos has hole in the head and didn't had a hospital tank. But know I do. But wanted to treat all my other fish. But wanted to know if I could with my ray in the tank as well lol
 
And no added 2 new fish a week ago and the female has hole in the head as far as I'm aware and filter is 2 years mature with a 1yr mature running next to it
