Rays and vacations

So, I am sure this has been covered many times before, but what is better, starving rays for a week or letting someone who doesnt know what they are doing try to feed them?

I always have someone feed them but I pre measure the food and only have them feed every other day to help eliminate problems.

Personally I'd fatten them up and leave them to it for a week while your about to look after the water quality. If they're big enough they won't starve for just a week. Better than someone over feeding and polluting the water. Either that or lay out a set amount for each day you want them to be fed so they can't be over fed.

They are quite fat so I dont think it would hurt them to miss a few meals. I just have no one close by that I trust to feed them, even pre-measured amounts.

I rather starve my fish when I go on vacation, then have someone feed them. Feeding without doing water change could be a disaster waiting to happen

I always have someone feed while I'm away. If you have a community tank and you starve your rays for a week don't expect to come home to the same number of tankmates that you left with lol.

Put each days pre-measured food in freezer bags.

luckily I have a select few I can trust. but still I pre measure pellets only then hide the rest so no one gets any funny ideas. and I only have them stop by once in the middle.
