Is there any issue with rays eating these pellets?

I tried a while back to get them on Massivore, but no success. I soaked the Massivore in blackworms but they still wouldn't go for it.

Last night I finally saw my ocellata eating the sinking cichlid gold that my severums get. Since she is eating pellets I will try again with the Massivore but I wanted to know if there was any issue eating these pellets. It will be tough to separate who gets which pellets, but hopefully I can get the rays on Massivore. The hystrix seems to still only like frozen blackworms and live nightcrawlers.

Why would there be an issue eating pellets of any kind. Just keep doing what you are doing and eventually they will all be eating pellets. I imagine hakari sinking gold is cheaper then massivore so good for them to eat the less expensive food.

No issue at all, I was glad to finally catch her eating pellets. I've seen her swim over them, just hadn't seen any eating before.

I was just wondering if this specific pellet would be harmful in any way.

Why would you have any problems feeding this as its a good way of making your rays eat some veg

I mix my pellets up cichlid gold sturgeon and massivore

The gold is lower in protein and what I found when I just fed gold was the rays had to eat a lot more to be happy

my rays have been on hikari gold for years, some will even eat floating gold off the top when it gets near the glass.
