Rays safe with pbass??

Recently added 2 pbass
10 and 11 inch.
I noticed the bigger one was taking an interest in the rays eye. Didnt take a bit.. but lips just got very close. The ray pushed his eyes inwards to avoid.
This happened once in 8 days.. since I added the bass.
Are they being inquisitive and curious...

Or has anyone had p bass eat or bite a rays eyes off?

ive had my 2 azuls in with my rays for almost a year now and havent had any issues what so ever. Dont think they ever even looked at the rays funny at least not the hours i sit and watch them every night.

I've been keeping rays and bass together for the last five years and IMO, the best combo ever. You got your top, mid and bottom covered with movement.
I have never seen my bass nip at the eyes of my ray/s.
