I would say a bad idea. Those catfish are known for sucking off the slime coat of other fish so they might give your rays some trouble

ok, that's what I wanted to know. I never keep sucker fish with my rays. I know some people do but not for me. But wasn't sure how these cats acted. And being a ray tank, wanted to ask here instead of the cat threads...

Don't recommend it. Learned the hard way. I had five mature feather fins in my ray tank for about a week. Found them bothering my rays, and constantly sucking their slime coat. Took them out and put them in their own 75 gallon tank.

thanks for the info. Had a friend wanting to get rid of some but decided against it per your advice.
