Hey guys, I had posted a build thread a week ago and am building a 700+ gallon plywood tank (7'L x 3.5'W x 40" tall) I am getting 1 ray (maybe 2) and 4 pbass do RTC live ok with them? I would THINK no but I have seen many videos with them together...

Kept a rtc x tsn with a bigger teacup ray. They did well since the cat was much smaller but once their mouth catches up to the rays size say bye bye. The rtc will not hesitate to eat the ray once big enough. It's best to grow out they ray to monster size then get a 12" or so rtc.

Oh btw you might want to take a foot or so off the height and put it to the depth 3.5' is big but you will need bigger for mature rays and large rtc in about 3 years the rtc will out grow that footprint.

I had a rtc for about 3 years. When I got rid of him, he was about 38 inches and could of eaten a watermelon if he wanted

I KNOW the care of RTC LOL! I had a 20" one until last week when i sold it... I just wanted to know if it would not eat the ray... But i am not gonna risk it ... My concern was that the ray would sting it cause they are both bottom dwellers..:

theres really no use for so much height with your stock i would make it as long and wide as possible but as you already stated you cant go for more with, still i would take some height away,
