I just ordered a small 7" Tig which I'm stoked about I might add! My question is how do you think it will do with my 5 rays that range from 5" to 8"? The most aggressive ray is my male Leo at 5-6". The largest is a pretty calm female Hystrix. I've got plenty other tank mates in there but none that just lay on the bottom.

I think it's a pretty tough call tig I feel at this point won't be eaten but Leo will grow faster then tig and may be to much stress. Would try and watch closely.

OSA just got him in which is why he's a little thin I'd imagine. Only one they got.

I was contemplating of putting him in one of my 40 breeder but then I was thinking it could be better to intro him to the rays while they're all young ad similar size.

Just wanted your guys' input.

damn I was going to grab this guy! you must have been the one who called right before me!

But yeah I agree I'd probably put him in the 40 gallon breeder and let him broaden up a bit before he goes in with the rays.

Nice Tig!!! You got lucky, I saw three people on Facebook that wanted that fish, and 274.99 wasnt a bad price for that size!!! I wouldnt risk it, put it in the 40!!

That actually seems like a really high price.

I got a 14" one from a member here in the Spring for about the same price but they are harder to find right now, hence the higher price.

I agree with the others that it should be grown out a bit in another tank...they're not so hardy when small.

Agreed. Supply and demand. I paid $125 for a 5" a little over a year ago. It is 18" now =]
