Razorback Musk

Hey guys. One of my fish has developed popeye due to fighting on one side. I want to add aquarium salt so that it'll heal but I have a razorback musk in there. Do i have to remove the razorback musk or will he be okay with 1 tablespoon per gallon in my 180?

It should be fine but if you want to play it safe you can remove it from the tank for a couple of days.
