Which one is more aggresive in shoals, RBP or Gold Spilos?

From what I've heard from others probably macs

They are two very different fish so its hard to say,
One is a solitary species which is aggressive toward eachother and the other is used to being a group and feel more comfortable and work together in a group.

Both can be active depending on setup and amount of fish but from experience a rbp shoal would be more active and comfortable then a group of macs, although every fish is different so there may be some mac shoals that are comfortable and very active.

Over all I would say a solo mac is more aggressive than an rbp

thanks

i have 4 macs together, and the aggression tends to come in waves. the 2 bigger macs would turn on the smaller 2 every now and again, but no damage beyond torn and nipped fins, and the occasional bite mark. in my opinion tho, i would have rather had a school of red bellies over macs. just for appeal, activity, and the macs aren't what there genus advertises. they are pretty shy and only eat when the lights are out.
