So after posting on here to some others questions. Its late an I was just staring into the tank an I see my one P that has a messed up eye being wierd. He is swimming sideways at times. hiding alot. Also got a little bite mark out of his stomache. Is the sideways swiming because his eye? should I remove him from the tank an put him in another by himself for awhile? Dude at the lfs said that he was fine an could survive, Though i didnt want him I felt bad an bought him anyway. He was fine for a month.

Depending on the eye injury it might heal back fully without any noticable difference in sight. Two of my five p's are blind in one eye, its caused them to be smaller than their tank mates but they do get around fairly well currently.

As far as the swimming sideways its what ive seen fairly normal at least with my guys, normally its a "I think I'm about to get attacked" move to lessen the blow from getting rammed or bit at. Somewhat of a deflection thing if it makes any sense.

I'm not an expert but I would worry and keep an eye on it like any good parent.

I put in alone in a tank for a bit till he heals up from the bite. An his eye was messed up when I bought the little guy an he barely grown.
