RBP weans self off of live feeders!

I'm laying in bed, 3/4 of the way asleep, and I'm watching Peek's tank (as usual), whenshe leaves her emo corner to chase the rosy reds I've been having to feed since before I got her. She didn't catch any. She turns around, swims to the top and begins eating the FD Baby Shrimp/Krill and leftover floating flakes! I'm actually thrilled that she's eating prepared foods, I was worried that she'd starve.

When they get hungry they will eat anything!!! Try getting her on pellets! then supplement with shrimps and fish fillets once in awhile, you may see a happier more active peek with briliant colours :)

Its always nice seeing a fish NOT eating live imo

I threw some cichlid pellets in after this post and she ate most of them. I need to pick up some more soon. The shrimp/krill was for the feeders, we alternate flakes with inverts to add some variety. She currently has some live crays in there to hunt right now, I moved the rosies into Zack's tank, and I'm debating whether or not to get some dithers.
 
Assuming that's a pellet brand? lol
 
I hope Fish Dr's carries it. : /
 
That's why they're in there. it was HILARIOUS the other night! Mike and I were sitting on my bed watchint the tank, and this little cray about 1/2" long was trying to pick a fight with Peek! XD

Yea I got a 7" red one with huge claws and my p's fought it all the way till just the tail was left, it was insane, those crays are pretry agile imo!
