RCK and CK hiding places? Or not?

i just want to know, my CK and RCK have a shared hidey hole.
comfy and all

should i remove this? force them to be active and swim around and hang out in the open?

or will this make them more shy and uncomfortable?

right now, the RCK seems to be more active during the day. cmes out more often to eat.
i stopped feeding them at night to make them feed during the day and forage.

should i remove the hiding places all together?

I'd say leave it. It's more comfortable for them. It's just natural for them to hide. Once they get bigger and realize that there's no threat to them, they'll hang out in the open more.

Yes make a space where the clown knife is hidden.
RCK and CK are VERY VERY low light FISH! Make a spot With plants rocks and or drift wood.



Its very nice to watch the knife come from the shadows to the light and envelope its prey

Try this On the side you make a cave try blocking out the light on that side of setup



A Ck with no place to hide is like me telling you sleep in empty room with no bed.
