i have a CK and A Rck in a planted tank.

the ck is 5 inch, rck is also same length but seems less fat and girthy.
the CK was there first and rck introduced later.

no problems now. i know these fish have bad ish vision according to the info on them. has anyone done this before?

the RCK automatically goes behind a piece of wood to hide, conviniently on te opposite side of the CKs favourite hiding spot.

Depends on the fish's personality and if they were raised together. It's been done before, but a CK will grow faster than a RCK.

just added a RCK into my comm. sorta the same sitch i guess ;) rck housed up with 2 of my gck and one silverck real quick.
hes almost 10inches or so .. 2 silvers near his size and the bgk and brown ghost too.

working great for the moment. i think knives notice their own species. especially when there all alone for a bit (the rck was in a 40b alone for a while.) they seem to be talkin story ;)

jus keep an eye on um . should be okay i think . GL and post a pic !

i just spent the 2 hours of their first night time together.
they swim past each other, and they dont realy react. kinda just swimming past ech other, sometimes other fish would react and maybe indimidate, they didnt.
hope thats a good sign.
i will keep watching so i can relocatethem if need be.

i have dreamed of a tank with a asian aro, dat, RCK, CK, and polypterus delhezi and albini senegalus. so heres hopin

yea, that combo is common, keep an eye on the ck because like someone already said, it will grow faster, just keep them well fed and there wont be any problems
