RCK and CK - same species? can they interbreed? has this been done?

i just got a ck and rck mixed, no aggression at all. could it be possible ts male and female.

though not implying i will breed them... hell no lol
im not a breeder, but could this be a reason they get along?

Knives are really hard to determine their sex. How big are they? Some Small Asian Knives tend to huddle together and can grow up together. Sometimes, mixing larger Knives can be a crap shoot.

But maybe for RCK & Chitala lopis.

breeding between a ck and a rck is isn't impossible. It's very difficult yea, but it's been done. i'll try to find a pic of the hybrid. I can imagine they'd look pretty cool

this is biased at most man u cant prove none of that.. and anyway theres sites in thai and other asian languages clearly showing interbreeding.

now a viable question would be. can asian and african knifes interbreed. or more rares imo like bluntnose and tiger knife..

ck is chitala.. all chitala can breed.thats why theres shortbodied. no dorsal. etc there genetic deformity of inbreeding and cross breeding.

dont expect any pairing off to happen until at least semi mature length around 16-20 inches... mfk fish need more time like aro lol
